When you enter for the first time into the Metro in Russia you formed the impression that you enter in the art gallery. And you forget that you only stay at the public transport stop. It is not for nothing, for example, Moscow Metro is among of the most beautiful metros in the world.

1. Metro Station Taganskaya (Moscow)
The station has opened in 1950 year. The decoration is dedicated to the military and historical theme. At the centre on the pylons there are round white roundels with the profiles of the soldiers of the Red Army and rank insignias of the forces type.
2. Avtovo Station (Saint-Petersburg)
It was opened in 1955 year. The Defense of Leningrad is a basic theme of the decoration. It is interesting that in 2014 year "Avtovo" is registered among 12 the most beautiful stations of the world according to the magazine the Guardian (USA).

11. Pushkinskaya (Saint-Petersburg)

12. Narvskaya (Saint-Petersburg)
The opening of the station in St. Petersburg Metro took place in 1955 year. It is a cultural heritage site. The theme is the work activities of the Soviet people. The pylons are decorated with the anthropomorph alto-rilievos of different professions.
